The Art:
Stay off the Interstates, take the back roads. Stop, get out and contemplate the beauty that surrounds you. Turn around, even, when something catches your eye. Avoid those things that inhibit creativity, contemplation, vision and composition. As much as possible, practice Hozro—and walk in beauty.

The Work:
I began in photography in 1967 and was late and reluctant to enter the digital photo age. In 2009 Pelican Publishing I released my photo book Dallas Iconography to modest acclaim. Since becoming a full-time resident of Ridgway, I continue my passion to capture the beauty of the Western Slope.
